The Restylane family of products are dermal fillers used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds. Similar to the Juvéderm family, Restylane products are hyaluronic acid fillers, and as such, can be used interchangeably with the Juvéderm products—some injectors prefer one over the other, but in general they can both accomplish the same goals. Hyaluronic acid (HA) occurs naturally in our skin and helps to provide fullness and elasticity. However, as we age, the amount of HA in our skin diminishes, resulting in loss of volume and increased chances for wrinkles and folds to appear. Dermal fillers can help restore that loss.

 

RESTYLANE KYSSE

Hydrated, natural-looking lips!

 

Designed specifically for the movement of lips, Restylane Kysse allows us to add fullness and dimension back to the lips in a really natural appearing way. Lips appear smoother, more hydrated, with their natural color enhanced. It’s ideal for someone who has thinner lips and is worried about adding too much volume, or someone who just wants to try lip filler for the first time. I love using it in younger patients who just need a small amount of volume and definition. It’s also amazing for those pesky vertical lip lines above and below the mouth that appear over the years.

Restylane Silk can be used for fine lines on the face and even in the forehead—yes, some patients look great with a little forehead filler to help lift their eyes and smooth out stubborn lines.

Restylane is versatile product for all areas, especially smile lines, but we use it most for the under-eye area. Tear trough filler can help improve the appearance of dark circles and hollows. As we age, our bone regenerating cells decrease, which can cause the eye area to appear sunken. With a little Restylane, we can plump and smooth this area for a natural, youthful result.

 

 

RESTYLANE REFYNE + DEFYNE

For deeper folds and lines

Refyne + Defyne can correct deeper lines without compromising facial expressions for the most natural-looking results. We are absolutely loving Defyne in the midcheek and nasolabial fold area (the lines that run from the outside of the nose to the corners of the mouth), and Refyne has been an amazing addition for the fine lines around the mouth, lips, and lower face, including marionette lines (the lines that run from the corners of the mouth toward the chin). These fillers are both very flexible and give a really natural appearance, especially around the mouth.
